GB Modelsport is a specialist Distributor of competition level radio controlled model cars and accessories to the retail trade in the UK and Republic of Ireland. The business was formed out of a partnership between RC enthusiasts Dave Griffiths and Steve Bass, who have collectively amassed over 35 years of industry experience, racing nitro, petrol and electric powered RC cars throughout the UK, Continental Europe and the USA.

From its central geographical base in Shropshire, the Company is dedicated to supplying the very best quality competition level RC cars and accessories to the retail trade, with each product fully supported by ex-stock availability on all listed spares. So whether you are a retailer looking to sell, or a racer looking to buy, you can do so with complete confidence.

The business is focused on the supply of competition level equipment, specifically aimed at the 1/8 off road buggy racing market. However, there are plans to develop this into the broader RTR sector in the not too distant future, and beyond that, we shall see the introduction of other scales and classes of RC model cars within our portfolio. In the meantime, we are dedicated to promoting a small range of products that have been extensively tested and developed, before they receive our own seal of approval.

Looking beyond the core business, we are all racers and enthusiasts, keen to utilise effective marketing initiatives to support the brands, our stockists and of course all those who race our products. This is why we not only finance a top level National & Euro’s drivers’ team, but we also support club and regional racing series at senior and junior levels.
